Potty Break Millionaire: Rotten Robbie Sells Sweet Lottery Ticket
A quick pit stop turned one California man into a millionaire.

SAN JOSE, CA — Most people have stopped at a gas station to use the restroom, but how many have come out a millionaire? We know of one — Vincent Anchondo. He bought a scratcher lottery ticket that delivered the top prize of $1 million.
Anchondo bought his $10 Holiday Magic scratcher at the Rotten Robbie gas station on Piedmont Road in San Jose. And his reaction? “I sat there for a long time staring at it because I wasn’t sure if what I was seeing was real,” he said. “I kind of froze.”
Once he thawed out, his logical brain kicked in, “The first thing I did was grab a pen and sign the back.”
