San Jose Man Arrested In Milpitas On Several Offenses
Endy Giovani Rendon, 20, of San Jose, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.

MILPITAS, CA -- A traffic stop in Milpitas on Tuesday led to the arrest of a San Jose man in connection with several offenses including DUI and possession of a stolen handgun, police said.
Endy Giovani Rendon, 20, of San Jose, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of stolen property and driving under the influence of
marijuana and alcohol, according to police.
On Tuesday at 2:19 a.m., a Milpitas police officer saw a black 2016 Jeep Patriot with its headlights off leaving the parking lot of a strip mall on Milmont Drive.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and noticed the driver, identified as Rendon, appeared to be under the influence of marijuana and alcohol.
Rendon was taken into custody. The officer searched the vehicle and allegedly located a loaded handgun and a small amount of marijuana, police said.

The handgun had allegedly been reported stolen after a September home burglary in San Jose, police said.
