San Jose Police Arrest Murder Suspect

The victim died following a fight last weekend.

SAN JOSE, CA —San Jose police arrested a suspect on Monday believed to be responsible for the death of a man during a fight last weekend, according to police.

After an investigation done by homicide detectives, the department's Covert Response Unit arrested Tyron Troutlacy in San Jose.

At 11:37 p.m. Saturday, San Jose police responded to a call of a disturbance in the 4000 block of San Simeon Way. When officers arrived, they located Gary Lombardo who was suffering injuries from a physical altercation, police spokesman Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.

Lombardo was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to Garcia.

Troutlacy was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder, Garcia said.
