SANTA CLARA - Power has now been restored to all Santa Clara customers previously affected by a large power outage according to a tweet from Silicon Valley Power.

SANTA CLARA - About 2,600 customers are without power in Santa Clara this afternoon, according to Silicon Valley Power.
A power outage started at about 1:40 p.m., impacting the southwest area of the city.

Electricity was estimated to be restored at 3:30 p.m., according to the utility's website.
A crew is responding to the scene to determine the cause of the outage, the utility said on Twitter.
