Shotgun Wielding Woman Shot By Police In San Jose

The woman's injury is not considered life threatening.

SAN JOSE, CA — A suspect who was shot and injured by San Jose police officers Monday afternoon was a woman armed with a shotgun, police said.

The officer-involved shooting was reported at 3:20 p.m. and occurred in the 800 block of Feller Avenue.

The suspect suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. She was taken to a hospital, police said.
