Suspect In Milpitas Bank Robbery Arrested

MILPITAS, CA -- Police shared photos Friday of a 38-year-old suspect who was arrested Sunday in connection to an armed robbery at a Milpitas bank. Alexander Barsolaso Ventura allegedly walked into U.S Bank at the Seasons Marketplace at 1525 Landess Ave., flashed a gun and demanded cash from the bank teller.

San Jose police located him in the city later that day and took him into custody without incident, according to Milpitas police.

Ventura was on probation and was found with a .22-caliber revolver and a U.S. Bank envelope filled with cash, police said.

He was booked into Elmwood Jail without bail due to a misdemeanor warrant for violating a court protective order, according to police.
