BAY AREA — Did you buy a ticket for Wednesday night's SuperLotto Plus drawing? A ticket sold in the South Bay is worth $8,583.
The ticket matched five out of five numbers, but missed the Mega ball. Having the mega number would have meant winning $17 million or a share of the prize, if more than one ticket was a winner.

The ticket worth over $8,000 was sold at Marina Market on State Street in Alviso.

Saturday's SuperLotto Plus jackpot grows to $18 million. The other lottos played in California are also growing. The Mega Millions jackpot this Friday is $76 million, while Saturday's PowerBall is $112 million.
