Woman Killed In Wednesday's Hit-And-Run Collision With Garbage Truck In Milpitas
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.

A woman was killed in Milpitas early Wednesday after an apparent hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a garbage truck, police said.
The initial crash was reported at 3:36 a.m. at North Milpitas Boulevard and Jacklin Road, according to police. Officers arriving at the scene followed a trail of debris to the 800 block of Coyote Street, where they found a silver two-door 1997 Cadillac stopped at the curb.
Next to the car, a woman was lying on the ground with severe visible injuries, police said.

Milpitas Fire Department personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
