1 Injured, Traffic Stalled On 5 Freeway Crash Tuesday

One car went "slightly airborne" during the crash in south Orange County, the California Highway Patrol reported.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — At least one person was injured after two cars crashed on the Interstate 5 Freeway Tuesday morning in south Orange County, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was reported at 9:14 a.m. after a white Lexus and a gray Honda crashed on the freeway traveling through Mission Viejo. According to the California Highway Patrol, one car went "slightly airborne" during the crash.

The crash stalled traffic for several miles on the freeway near Crown Valley Parkway traveling north, authorities said.
