3 Arrested In Mission Viejo Retail Burglary: OC Sheriff

Three unidentified suspects were taken in by Orange County authorities in connection with a Mission Viejo retail burglary Monday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Three suspects were arrested Monday night in connection with a burglary at a local retail store in Mission Viejo, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.

The suspects were arrested "without incident," authorities said, and will face felony charges for grand theft, burglary and conspiracy to commit theft.

Sheriff deputies also took $4,800 in stolen merchandise, which was returned to the retail store.

The arrest was made shortly after deputies received a report of a high-dollar theft from a Mission Viejo store Monday evening.

The caller provided an accurate description of the suspects, including a license plate number.

Deputies were able to find the suspects with the help of the OCSD K-9 Mac and assistance from the OCSD Air Support, the Irvine Police Department, the Newport Beach Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and the OCSD Lake Forest Division.
