Add Sparkles to Your Life: Mission Viejo Pets Need a Home

MISSION VIEJO, CA — This Orange County kitty has made a home with the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, but she is still searching for her forever place. Today, an approved applicant can bring her home for just $20 according to the Animal Services Center.

"Sparkles is an extremely sweet 2-year-old domestic short-haired brown tabby," Public information specialist Kelly Toranski said. "She may look like your average cat, but she’s definitely not. She gets her name because of her gorgeous sparkling eyes."

This sweet kitty has been at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center for quite some time but it’s unclear why.

"Not only are her eyes beautiful but so is her personality," Toranski stated. "She is everything you could possibly want in a cat – loving, caring, playful, curious, smart and adorable."

She literally is the purrfect cat.

To encourage potential adoption, the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) will generously pay $80 toward Sparkles’ adoption fees, so this wonderful cat is only $20 to an approved applicant.

Emmett is a handsome, high energy 3-year-old German Shepherd.

He definitely lives up to the breed’s characteristics by being intelligent, loyal and confident. He loves being by your side and taking long strolls, in which he walks confidently yet relaxed. He is quite playful and would go home with a training package, where his intelligence will shine.

Emmett would do best in a home where he would receive lots of exercise and stimulation.
