Man Who Tried Band-Aid MacGyver Tire Fix Arrested: Cops
Police said the man was using gauze and first aid supplies to patch his flat tires.

MISSION VIEJO, CA —Mission Viejo residents love to report suspicious activities, but on Tuesday morning, this call likely saved lives, police said.
At about 6 a.m. Tuesday, an alert citizen who noticed a suspicious man next to a car parked near Felipe and Barbadanes Roads called police, according to Mission Viejo Police Services Lt. Quyen Vuong.
"When deputies arrived, they noticed both of the driver's side tires were flat," Vuong said.

Police said the 26-year-old man was trying to use gauze and Band-Aids from an exploded first aid kit to repair his tires.
The man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs and taken to jail. His name was not released.
