BB Gun Found On Student At Mission Viejo High School: OC Sheriff
Orange County sheriff deputies responded to reports of a student in possession of a gun on campus at Mission Viejo High School Wednesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — One teen was arrested after he was found to be possessing a BB gun and folding knife while on campus at Mission Viejo High School Wednesday, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
The incident was reported after the high school's School Resource Officer received a tip that a student was holding a weapon while on campus early Wednesday afternoon. When the SRO approached the student, the student reportedly ran away from the deputy and toward La Paz Intermediate School.
The report triggered a brief lockdown of both Mission Viejo High School and La Paz Intermediate School. Fortunately, no students were injured and deputies arrested the 14-year-old without further incident. His identity was not released due to his age.
