Bestselling political thriller novelist, TV show host to appear in Mission Viejo

Brad Meltzer, a bestselling political thriller novelist and non-fiction writer, will visit Mission Viejo this month.

Brad Meltzer, a bestselling political thriller novelist and non-fiction writer, will visit Mission Viejo this month to discuss his latest Culper Ring novel “The President’s Shadow.”

Meltzer will appear in the city’s popular Writers Present program at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

The New York Times bestselling author of “The Inner Circle”; “The Book of Fate”; and seven other bestselling thrillers including “The Tenth Justice” and “Dead Even,” Meltzer is also the TV host of “Brad Meltzer’s Lost History” on H2 and “Brad Meltzer’s Decoded” on the History Channel. The Hollywood Reporter recently put him on its list of Hollywood’s 25 Most Powerful Authors.

Meltzer has penned several non-fiction children’s books including “Heroes for My Son” and Heroes for My Daughter” and is one of the co-creators of the TV show “Jack & Bobby.”

In writing “The President’s Shadow,” he conducted in-depth interviews with an array of top government agencies, historians and a past president. The story delves into little-known parts of American history to reveal government cover-ups and secret military locations.
