Best lunch places in Mission Viejo, beginning with Skimmer's
In the two months between buying our new house and moving into it, we made scores of overnight trips to Mission Viejo, remodeling, landscaping, and ordering appliances and furniture.
We ate dinner and breakfast with our kids in nearby Rancho Santa Margarita, "crashing" in the granddaughters’ beds at night. But without a refrigerator (or microwave) and no gas to the range, the mid-day meal was up for grabs.
So...we investigated places to eat lunch in our new community. What we found, we LOVED! Here is the first of four of our favorite places.

Our all-time favorite, which we have visited many times, is SKIMMER'S Panini Grill on Marguerite Parkway & La Paz. Its indoor booths and outside umbrella-clad tables are always overflowing at lunchtime despite many other eating choices nearby. Here's why....
