Free Irish Dancing Celebration Saturday in Mission Viejo
Enjoy Irish dancing with two free Saturday performances.

Don your green and tap your toes as dancers from the Butler-Fearon-O'Connor School of Irish Dance will dazzle you with hornpipes, hops, jigs, skips and reels. Celebrate Riverdance-style Irish dancers at two free performances that will take place on Sat., March 9 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 2 and 3:30 pm. Children 4 years and up are welcome to attend.
Traditional Irish dancing is a rhythmic art that dates back to the 12th century and has remained true to its age old culture. It embodies athleticism, high energy and a thunderous pace of the feet. The steps are lightening fast, difficult and complex.
The costumes alone will take your breath away. They are a blend of Celtic and contemporary. Some of the dresses are bright, tapestry woven colors embellished with genuine Swarovski crystals.
