Burglars At Large After Ransacking South Orange County Home: Report
The incident was captured on video Thursday night when a Mission Viejo resident and her father returned home and heard noises upstairs.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — A Mission Viejo family is grateful to be safe after coming home to find burglars ransacking their home on Thursday night, ABC 7 reported.
According to the report, the three thieves broke into the home through a second-story balcony and ransacked the house, stealing jewelry, breaking open two gun safes and grabbing anything of value.
The incident was caught on camera when Mission Viejo resident Madison Weil and her dad, Jay, returned home and heard noises upstairs.

"I didn't even know how many people there were. I certainly don't know if they're armed. I don't know if they're ready to kill somebody over whatever they're doing here," Jay told ABC 7.
Police chased the thieves to Los Angeles County, the report said, but two of them still remain at large. One suspect was arrested and their identity was not released.
