WE’RE BACK AT THE LAKE FOREST PERFORMING ARTS CENTER FOR A SPECIAL EVENT, WITH A KILLER LINEUP FOR ONLY $10 (and it’s on a Saturday!)

Due to the great success of last year’s Fritz Coleman show at the Lake Forest Performing Arts Center, we’ve been invited back to keep the comedy going. Admission is only $10 AND it’s on a Saturday. Hopefully we’ll get to see some of our old comedy friends. And now the best part.  Our May show will feature three of our favorite headliners. James P. Connolly, Stephanie Blum, and Ron Ruhman. JAMES P. CONNOLLY – James P. Connolly is a stand-up comedian and radio/TV host  known for his playful, confident style and quick wit. He attended Harvard University on a Marine Corps ROTC Scholarship. While serving in Desert Storm, he was ordered to write jokes for a Colonel. Arriving in Hollywood, he began to perform at LA’s major comedy venues and soon popped up on television, commercials and in small films.

​James  has appeared on America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, HBO,  Netflix and can be heard daily on SiriusXM Comedy Channels. He hosted “Live From Here” for National Lampoon XM Radio, and has recorded a “Blue Collar Radio Comedy Concert” for SiriusXM.

​James has a Comedy Special “Acceptable Loss” available on the Dry Bar+ Comedy App and streaming on YouTube and will release two mini-Specials in 2025.

STEPHANIE BLUM – Comedian Stephanie Blum has brought audiences into hysterics with her brutally honest stand up. As a mother of three and former school psychologist, this street smart Brooklyn native rips into her favorite subjects including marriage, parenting, dieting and life in general. You may have seen her comedic performances on HBO’s COMEDY MINUTES, Discovery Family’s BABIES BEHAVING BADLY, Country Music Television’s 2O FUNNIEST VIDEOS, THE MARIE OSMOND SHOW for Hallmark Channel or COMICS UNLEASHED with Byron Allen.She appears in clubs and casinos around the country and as a featured headliner on the prestigious Holland America Cruise Lines.

RON RUHMAN – Ron is a professional comedian who headlines Clubs, Colleges, Corporate and Church events, throughout the United States and Canada. He has opened for many talented performers including Leon Redbone, Judy Tenuta, Shawn Wayans, Jimmy Brogan, Don Friesen, and Fritz Coleman, done audience warm-up on several productions including Castle Rock Pictures “Forget Paris” starring Billy Crystal, and appeared on numerous television shows including “America’s Funniest People”, Comedytime TV, KTLA’s Find Me a Comic, and COZI TV.

Ron has been called a “High Energy Seinfeld”.  He brings a very energetic style to the stage as he shares his interesting slant on day-to-day life in an act that is clean, smart, and very entertaining.
