Camero Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of Fatal Mission Viejo Crash
A sports car was allegedly driving at speeds of over 100-miles-per-hour when the vehicle struck and killed an MV woman, OCSD said

MISSION VIEJO, CA - An arrest was made in the 2017 deadly crash that claimed the life of a Mission Viejo woman in 2017. A 24-year-old man was behind bars Friday on suspicion of murder for allegedly speeding and causing the collision.
Afiff Kevin Doaifi, city of residence not currently known, was arrested Thursday and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's officials said Doaifi was speeding in a Chevrolet Camaro while driving east on Alicia Parkway near Althea Avenue on March 25, 2017. The driver of a Hyundai Elantra was on Alicia and attempted to make a left turn onto Althea, and was struck by the oncoming Camaro, sheriff's officials said.

The driver of the Hyundai, 33-year-old Judith Noval, was pulled unconscious from the wreckage and hospitalized, sheriff's officials said. She never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead a month later.
According to the sheriff's department, investigators determined that Doaifi had previously been charged with driving in excess of 100 mph, and he conceded knowledge in court of the dangers of speeding.
It was not immediately known how fast he was allegedly driving during the 2017 crash
