Camino Health Center Auxiliary Fashion Show - November 24

High fashion models will showcase the latest designs from South Coast Plaza retailers to raise money in support of Camino Health Center.

Camino Health Center Auxiliary will celebrate their 30th anniversary at the Fashion Show and Luncheon on November 24, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel. The highlight of this pearl-themed event will be high fashion models showcasing the latest designs from South Coast Plaza retailers.

This year’s runway show will feature fashions from Bally, Brunello Cucinelli, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Façonnable, Intermix, MaxMara, Ralph Lauren, Sandro, Saks Fifth Avenue, St. John and M Missoni providing informal modeling during the reception. The event will include a gourmet lunch, premier silent auction items and luxury opportunity raffles.

During the event, an exquisite collection from Chopard’s Happy Diamonds Icons line will be raffled. The Happy Diamond Icon ring, earrings and pendant are valued at $17,500. Each raffle ticket is just $100, and only 200 tickets will be sold - offering a one in two hundred chance to win. The Happy Diamonds Icons line is inspired by sparkling drops of water in a waterfall, freely moving diamonds held between two sapphire crystals swirl and dance, creating a cascade of light.

Since the Auxiliary was founded in 1984, they have raised more than $6 million and supported more than one million patient visits at Camino Health Center. A federally qualified health center in San Juan Capistrano, Camino Health Center is devoted to meeting the health care needs of uninsured and underinsured residents; the center depends heavily on financial support from the community.

“When the center first opened, fundraising efforts consisted of a glass donation jar on the front desk,” says Camino Health Center Auxiliary President, Ann Morris. “As the saying goes – we’ve come a long way!”

The proceeds from the fashion show will allow Camino Health Center to provide vital primary medical care, laboratory and pharmacy services, and dental care for children.
