Summer is here, which means it is time….. for the Cellist to play again at Norman P. Murray Community Center, 23492 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, 92691. Everyone is welcome to join us on Thurs., July 25 at 3 pm to hear these advanced students from the Pioneer School of Music in Tustin.
They attend an intense, seven-hour-a day, four-week program by the National Cello Institute Advanced Residency Program that is co-sponsored by the Music Institute of Chicago. They play at various venues throughout Southern California.
Did you know that often times the cello is too valuable and treasured to check into the baggage and so big that it requires an extra seat. In addition, the bow is to the cellist is like the voice is to a singer.
