City Of Mission Viejo: Fun Caribbean Steel Drum Band Performs At Symphony In The Cities And Prelude In The Park Aug. 14

Island Voyage – a unique steel drum band – will perform during this year’s Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event on Saturday, August 14 on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park.

Island Voyage captures the mood of the tropics with the exciting sounds and rhythms of the Caribbean. The band’s goal is to make people happy by creating memories that last a lifetime.

Leader Richard Schwagerl has performed in more than 30 countries including Trinidad - the home of the steel drum. With more than 6,000 performances, Richard has developed the art of entertaining all ages. From quiet cocktail or dinner music to upbeat dance music – the band pumps out music everyone will enjoy! 

Oso Viejo Community Park is located at 24932 Veterans Way. Island Voyage will take the Prelude stage at 4 pm when the Prelude in the Park festivities begin.
