Hosted by the Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee and Mission Viejo Community Foundation, the event benefits members of the City’s adopted Headquarters Battalion of the 1st Marine Division.

Residents, businesses and organizations can support our adopted troops by sponsoring the event or donating silent auction items. Sponsorships range from $200 to $5,000, but donations in any amount are appreciated. Silent auction examples include gift cards, gift baskets, room stays, golf foursomes, show tickets, discounts, or other items. Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at the Norman P. Murray Community Center (24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692) to the attention of Melanie McGrane.

The fee for an individual golfer is $200. A foursome, which includes a Marine, is $800.

Tournament proceeds support the programs the Mission Viejo Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee offers military personnel and their families. The committee sends weekly care packages to deployed troops; hosts an annual “Day at Lake Mission Viejo”; offsets the cost for entry-level Marines to attend the annual Marine Corps Ball; distributes toys to Marine children during the holidays; and provides baby baskets for newborns and expectant Marine wives.

To support the event, register online or call 949-470-3061.
