Along with learning about our roots, guests will enjoy seeing an award-winning artist share her talents. Joyce Pelaka paints “en plein air” or “in the open,” a term first used by the French impressionists. She frequently travels to capture fresh subject matter while participating in some of the most respected art festivals. Traveling to France gave her an opportunity to paint in the garden of impressionist Claude Monet – an artistic experience of a lifetime. Her oil paintings evoke moods and capture a fleeting moment on canvas.

People of all ages are welcome to stop by and share in the history and heritage of our community. Reservations are not necessary and free parking is available. The Heritage House is located on the corner of Melinda Road and Santa Margarita Parkway.
