The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 will hold an Open House.

There ‘s no lack of something to do in the City of Mission Viejo. Perhaps you are bored, new to the community or just want to meet new people. Look no further.

The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 will hold an Open House on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm. There's something for everyone- enjoy demonstrations, door prizes, give-aways and refreshments.

Come discover this hidden jewel in Mission Viejo which offers hundreds of activities, classes, services and events annually. Without a doubt this is what makes Mission Viejo thrive. The City gives each of us many opportunities to be healthy, stay active, give back and just have fun.

In fact, Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center offers a warm, friendly atmosphere and they welcome everyone including non-residents. There are no fees or dues and most classes are free. The classes that cost are very reasonable.

Some of the activities and classes are ballroom dance, bingo, bocce ball, bridge, bunco , cell phone, computer, creative writing, Constitution and art history, current events, exercise classes, line dancing, movies, opera, ping pong, Spanish lessons, walks on Oso trail….there are just too many to list them all.

At the Open House there will be representatives from some of the various activities, classes and groups to assist you- Age Well Senior Services and Meals on Wheels, Heritage Committee, Mission Viejo Activities Committee, Mission Viejo Senior Activities Committee… just to name a few.

In addition, the community center is surrounded by the Oso Trail which is a magnificent creation of art and nature that covers a five and a half-mile, groomed walking trail. The community facility is also available for private rentals during the evenings and weekends.

Mission Viejo continues to grow with people’s new ideas, service and positive energy. Our tight knit community provides residents with a happy, healthy and safe life.
