MISSION VIEJO, CA — A baby gate and a screen door saved a South Orange County family's cat after the house cat was being targeted by a wild coyote, KTLA reported.

The sighting was reported and captured on Ring video camera in Mission Viejo, according to the report. The video shows a coyote in the front yard of a Mission Viejo home watching one of the family's cats that was sitting behind a child safety gate and screen door at their open front door.
