Mission Viejo Man 'Critically Missing,' Authorities Say: Have You Seen Jairo?

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Orange County Sheriff's Department asked for the public's help in locating a Mission Viejo man who was reported missing over three weeks ago, the OCSD reported on Twitter Tuesday.

Jose Rafael Regalado, 51, was reported missing on Jan. 3 after he left his Mission Viejo home Jan. 1 at about 7 a.m. Regalado left his home on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.

According to the sheriff's department, Regalado does not have a cell phone, credit card or vehicle. He is also in need of medication.

He was last seen wearing a red jacket, orange pants and black shoes.

Regalado stands at 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 210 pounds.

Regalado has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Regalado's whereabouts, or anyone who believes they might have seen him, is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department dispatch at 714-647-7000.
