Mission Viejo, CA. (October 2021) – To commemorate 37 years of service in the south Orange County community, the Saddleback Valley Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL), Inc., hosted its annual Day of Giving and Clothing Drive. Donations were collected for ten Orange County Organizations on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Norman P. Murray Center in Mission Viejo.

It was a memorable event that created a huge impact to local philanthropies. Many of the Chapter’s Patronesses and Ticktockers generously donated items, which included: canned goods, paper goods, craft papers, art supplies, toys, toiletries, and baby items. In addition, the Chapter collected over 1,300 pounds of gently used clothes and raised over $372.

“Our Day of Giving is such a special time for our Chapter. It offers us the chance to support our philanthropies by providing the items that they need so desperately.” said Jen Caison, Saddleback Valley’s Chapter President.

The ten local philanthropies that the Saddleback Valley Chapter’s Day of Giving serves are as follows: Laura’s House, Never Ever Give Up (NEGU) Jessie Rees Foundation, Orange County Rescue Mission, Operation Help a Hero (OHH), Rancho Santa Margarita Community Table, Rainbow Kids Achievement Center, Shea Center, South County Outreach, Team Michelle, OC Veterans Outreach (District Philanthropy).
