Delicious food, showstopping activities on tap for Symphony in the Cities and Prelude and the Park August 8

Patrons can savor delectable fare from popular food trucks and enjoy exhilarating activities – including freestyle motocross shows – at Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park on Saturday, August 8 at Oso Viejo Community Park.

This signature event, which features Pacific Symphony and is part of the City’s yearlong celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, is from 4 to 8:30 pm at 24932 Veterans Way.

Along with the annual Prelude in the Park featuring the Vintage Vinyl band, patrons will enjoy electrifying motocross, a mechanical bull, high striker, carnival games, dunk tank, pie-eating contest, goat petting zoo, bounce houses, 360 camera, face painting and more.

A variety of good eats will be available from gourmet food trucks including Pizzini Italian Burger and Grill; Prime Philly; Sabrosa Mobile Kitchen; Scooter’s Italian Ice; Tropical Sno; and Xclusive Taqueria Moderna. The Mission Viejo Rotary Club will sell beer and wine in the beer garden.

The Symphony in the Cities concert presented by Pacific Symphony begins at 7 pm. Starting at 1 pm, guests are welcome to set up blankets and chairs.
