Ditch The Documents In Mission Viejo At Shredding Event
In partnership with Waste Management, Mission Viejo is holding a shredding event Saturday March 26.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Do you have sensitive documents that you've been needing to shred? Mark your calendars, Mission Viejo. On March 26, the city is hosting a shredding event for all residents and businesses.
The City of Mission Viejo partnered with Waste Management to provide a free shredding service to Mission Viejo residents. At the event, residents can bring their old documents and have them recycled or destroyed free of charge.
Residents and businesses in Mission Viejo can bring up to five banker-size file boxes worth of paper records for immediate shredding. Documents should be free of binders, paperclips, plastic sleeves and metal butterfly clips.

To participate in the event, no registration is required — though the city asked residents to remain in their vehicles until serviced.
For more information, residents can contact 949-470-8458. The free shredding event takes place March 26 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Mission Viejo City Hall parking lot, 200 Civic Center.
