Dog Tied To Tree Finds Forever Home With Deserving Family
Angel, the Siberian husky-German shepherd mix found tied to a tree with her pups in Aliso Viejo, has found a new forever home.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A loving dog abandoned by her owner just found her new forever home, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center announced.
Angel, a Siberian husky-German shepherd mix, was found tied to a tree in Aliso Viejo with her seven puppies in a box beside her, Mission Viejo Spokeswoman Kelly Tokarski told Patch.
The 1-year-old dog was left with no food, no water and no way to shield her or her puppies from danger.

Her luck only changed after she and her pups were brought into the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center. While police investigate the case of animal cruelty, Angel and her babies received their vaccines and a bath.
This week, just 24 hours after Angel's story aired on KNBC Channel 4, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center experienced a "surge" in adoption applications for Angel, Tokarski said.

"Numerous applications flooded in from near and far, including a heartfelt one from a lovely family in Murrieta," Tokarski told Patch. "Having faced the loss of multiple family pets this year, the family members believed Angel would be their beacon of hope."
Angel will live out the rest of the days with her caring family in Murrieta, residing on a spacious property and surrounded by love, Tokarski said.
