Earthquake in North Orange County: Brea Quake Rattles Residents

BREA, CA — A small 2.3 magnitude earthquake was centered east, northeast of Brea according to the US Geological Survey.

The "Did you feel it?" index showed that residents of Brea, Fullerton and Placentia all noticed the shaking, which was felt as far away as La Habra.

Users of the index stated the quake was weak to light, in intensity with no damage reported.

Area police say the quake was felt at the Brea Civic Center but there were no reports of any problems according to authorities.
