East Meets West- Margot Ferron

“East Meets West” will be held at the Norman P. Murray Community Center on Sun., June 30 at 4 pm.  It is a great opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of a Chinese meal accented with flavors from Japan, Korea and the Philippines.

In keeping with the evening's theme, "East Meets West," Segerstrom’s Korean Classical Music and Dance, Sonya Sandrachild, Asian harpist   and   South Coast Chinese Cultural Association Students will perform.  This cultural experience will be catered by Shanghai Place, Samurai Sushi and Short Stack Catering for just $12 per person and feature door prizes.

Guests are welcome to come socialize in your silk gowns from the Orient, pretty Korean dresses, Chinese coats, Mandarin hats, Japanese jackets or maybe a gold Thai headdress.

Even so it will be an experience with flair.  For more information and to register (registration is required), call 949/470-3062.

Sayonara until then, my friend.
