Let’s have some fun and make some noise at the Symphony in the Park on Sat., July 27. At 5:30 pm, children ages 3-12 years old will have the opportunity to make an instrument, play a drum and meet Maestro Carl St. Clair in an interactive hands-on musical playground.
It is a perfect opportunity to teach kids about music as well as be environmentally responsible, recycle with a purpose and help preserve our planet.
Children will make their own musical instruments using items such as coffee cans, paper plates, empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls, empty water bottles, metal bottle caps, waxed paper, rubber bands, cereal, shoe and Kleenex boxes.
