Elderly Bicyclist Dead After Crash In Mission Viejo Tuesday

The unidentified 78-year-old man was riding his bike in Mission Viejo when he was involved in a traffic crash Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — One man died while riding his bike in Mission Viejo when he was involved in a fatal traffic crash Tuesday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The crash occurred at around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning near the area of Los Alisos Boulevard and Entidas, preliminary reports show. It is not clear how many people were involved in the crash.

While authorities confirmed that the deceased man was 78-years-old, his identity was withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
