Elks Lodge Honors the American Flag and Veterans in Lake Forest Independence Day Parade

Mission Viejo / Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge No. 2444 (“Elks Lodge”) proudly displayed it's banners in its fifth year in the Lake Forest Ca Independence Day Parade with over 90 parade participants.   The Elks Lodge delegation was led by the Elks Lodge Banner and members of the Lodge’s Boy Scout Troop 603  The scouts were followed by Elk members and their families handing out American flags, Elks Lodge key chains, American Flag mints, and American Flags plus other Independence Day memorabilia. Elks veterans, riding in convertibles were honored in this year's parade.
Through the efforts of Past State Vice President and retired Fire Captain Harvey Boelts, the famous OCFA “Big John” fire engine accompanied the Elks Lodge members. It was driven by Mr. Boelts.   The Mission Viejo / Saddleback Elks Lodge No. 2444, celebrating forty-four (44) years of service to the Saddleback Valley communities, is one of ten lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois.
