Saddleback Master Chorale presents, "Voices of Eastern Europe," an entrancing collection of Eastern European choral pieces, featuring sacred and secular works from countries such as Russia, Hungary, Macedonia and the Ukraine.
The pieces are in a variety of styles, from the ocean-deep power and majesty of the Rachmaninoff Vespers, to the sparkling, unquenchable joy of simple Serbian and Ukrainian folk songs, featuring unusual rhythms and harmonies.
Tickets are $15, $12 for students and seniors, under 12 free. Available on the website or at the door.
