Free E-Waste And Hazardous Waste Collection Set For May 14
The City is partnering with Waste Management to host a free drive-through E-Waste and Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday.

The City is partnering with Waste Management to host a free drive-through E-Waste and Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday, May 14 from 9 to 11 am in the City Hall parking lot. This provides residents with a free, safe and convenient way to properly dispose of hazardous items.

Proof of residency will be required with a valid identification card and residents must remain in their vehicle at all times. No business waste or walk-ups will be permitted. There is a limit of 125 pounds or 15 gallons per vehicle, and each container must not exceed 5 gallons.
This event will also feature an additional station for tires that will be collected and properly disposed of by the Orange County Conservation Corps. Remove any rims prior to drop-off.

Hazardous waste are products that are flammable, corrosive, reactive or toxic. These products are dangerous to the public and the environment and must be disposed of properly. It is illegal to dump hazardous waste in a trash container.
Acceptable items include pool chemicals, household cleaners, garden chemicals, paint products and thinners, thermometers, fluorescent light bulbs and tubes, batteries, tires and electronic items.
Do not bring sharps, smoke detectors, ammunition, appliances larger than microwaves, asbestos, construction materials, leaking containers, pressurized cylinders, fire extinguishers, trash, explosives, radioactive waste, or biomedical waste.
