Garage Fire Ignites At Mission Viejo Home: OCFA
Firefighters arrived to the scene in the 22000 block of Orellano in Mission Viejo to find a well-developed garage fire.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Firefighters saved a home in Mission Viejo after a fire ignited in the garage over the weekend, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
The fire was reported at 5:59 a.m. in the 22000 block of Orellano on Friday, Dec. 20. According to firefighters, a garage fire erupted in a single-family home.
"Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a well-developed garage fire that was rapidly spreading to the second floor," an OCFA statement read. "An attack was initiated on the fire, accompanied by a search for occupants."

According to authorities, all residents evacuated the home safely and multiple crews successfully stopped the fire from spreading to the rest of the home.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Mission Viejo - At 5:59 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a single-family residence located in the 22,000 block of Orellano. Engine 31, the first-arriving unit, arrived on scene within five minutes of the dispatch.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a well-developed garage fire that was rapidly spreading to the second floor. An attack was initiated on the fire, accompanied by a search for occupants. A primary search revealed that all residents had evacuated the home safely.
Multiple crews successfully contained the majority of the fire within the garage, resulting in minimal damage to the rest of the house. Fire investigators are currently on scene to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
