Big Project In Mission Viejo To Be Considered By City Commission
After a unanimous city council vote, a proposed project in Mission Viejo is coming before the city's commission Monday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A big development project in Mission Viejo will be discussed at Monday's Planning and Transportation Commission Meeting, as commission members consider a potential zoning change for the Gardens property project.
This comes after Mission Viejo's City Council voted unanimously to deny property owners ValueRock Realty zone change request for the proposed project at the corner of La Paz and Marguerite.
ValueRock Realty proposes to demolish the existing 46,148 square-feet of building area to make room for The Gardens, a project with five upper stories and 234 apartment units, over 600 parking spaces and 48,000 square-feet of retail, according to a city staff report.
