The Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive Team is offering free summer dive lessons for low-income, at-risk youth through a special program.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Is your child looking for a fun way to keep cool over the summer? The Mission Viejo Nadadores Dive Team is offering free summer dive lessons for low-income, at-risk youth through a special scholarship program.
The program is funded by a USA Diving grant, and the "Discover a Diver" scholarship awards are based on proof of financial need, a city news release said.
The scholarships are designed to provide children ages 8 through 18 the opportunity to learn the art of diving from the world-renowned Nadadores, a team which has produced countless Olympians.
