Missing Woman Found In Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo Police Services located a 72-year-old woman who went missing midday Monday, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.

The woman, identified as Rafif, wandered away from her home near Marguerite and Trabuco.

She is 72 years old, thin, 5 feet tall, brown hair, possibly wearing glasses, and is of Middle Eastern descent.

"She speaks Farsi and may be disoriented," a spokesperson for the department said.

She was returned safely to her family Monday afternoon, hours after her disappearance.
