Heroin, Stolen Car Found In Mission Viejo Church Parking Lot
Mission Viejo Police Services deputies out on patrol saw something and did something about it. Here is what they found.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — If you ever asked yourself, 'Where's a cop when you need one?' look no further than Mission Viejo.
Over the weekend, deputies on patrol in the area of Alicia Parkway and Muirlands caught sight of something suspicious as a person as seen sitting inside a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Officers on patrol investigated local businesses and churches, early Monday morning, they said. Just after midnight, deputies spied an occupied vehicle with a 29-year-old man inside," Mission Viejo Police Services Lt. Quyen Vuong said.

Deputies soon learned the Jeep Cherokee was reported as stolen from the Irvine area.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect had "heroin and drug paraphernalia" on him.

"The suspect was arrested and taken to jail, and the vehicle has been returned to its owner," Vuong said.
