Hiker Rescued From Trabuco Canyon
On Thursday afternoon Orange County Fire Authority helicopter conducted a medical Rescue of a hiker in trouble from Trabuco Canyon.

MISSION VIEJO, CA - Both the Orange County Fire Authority And Orange County Sheriffs Department conducted a joint rescue of a hiker in distress on Thursday afternoon in Trabuco Canyon.
Orange County Sheriffs and Orange County Fire Authority responded to the aid of a 30-year-old male hiker complaining of exhaustion, according to OCFA Captain Larry Kurtz.
"OCFA and OCSD completed a successful extraction of a hiker from the Bell View trail at Robinson Ranch," Orange County Fire Authority captain Larry Kurtz said.

"Medics assessed the hiker, but he was not likely to be transported to area hospital, as his only complaint was exhaustion," Kurtz said.
With weekend heat expected in the 90s in the mountain areas of Orange County all hikers are recommended to carry with them water and a fully charged cell phone in case of emergencies. Hiking in cooler morning or evening temperature is also recommended.
