Hit and Run with Parked Car at Mission Viejo Glen Yermo Drop Off: Did you see it?
A hit and run at Glen Yermo Elementary School did not develop into a police report, but we are reminded at the dangers of school drop off.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — School drop offs continue to be a challenge for many Orange County parents struggling to get their students to class on time. From making illegal turns to parking in red zones and making drop offs difficult for other parents, getting your child to school on time is not worth causing an accident or causing harm to others attempting to beat the school bell.
On Wednesday morning, a call was placed to the Orange County Sheriff's Department at approximately 8:35 a.m. to the area of Los Alisos and Trabuco in Mission Viejo. An unknown party witnessed a hit and run with a parked car at the school drop off at Glen Yermo Elementary School.
"A gray Lexus sedan was reported to OCSD as sideswiping a gray Honda CRV. The Honda was parked on street, and the sedan scraped the vehicle upon leaving the Glen Yermo Elementary School parking lot," OCSD Watch Commander John Roche said.
