House Fire Breaks Out In Mission Viejo Wednesday Morning
The fire was reported after neighbors noticed the sound of fire and explosions coming from the garage of a nearby home.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Two homes were saved after a fire broke out at a house in Mission Viejo Wednesday morning, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
The fire was reported at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 26000 block of Avenida Shonto, authorities said. When firefighters arrived, they found a home with flames bursting out of its garage, threatening the two adjacent homes.

"Fortunately, firefighters quickly knocked down the fire thanks to the residents that quickly alerted us," an OCFA news release said. "This made a difference in saving both homes."

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
