An injury is keeping former Saddleback College football player Menelik Watson out of the Raiders' preseason opener versus the Dallas Cowboys, according to SportsMedia101.
The 6'5", 315-pound Watson is aiming for the starting right tackle position. His injury has kept him out of training, though.
"Any chance Watson would compete and win the right tackle job is decreasing with every practice he misses," sports writer Nick Gill said.
After playing for the Gauchos, Watson was part of the Florida State University team that in 2012 took home the ACC Championship for the first time in seven years.
