International Day of Happiness-Mission Viejo

Happiness is Contagious Mission Viejo

Did you know your happiness is important? Yes, it is. Your happiness is part of a larger movement. Back in 2012, the United Nations issued a resolution calling for a greater precedence of happiness in our everyday lives. Your happiness not only impacts you but it affects your family, friends, community, and the world. Happiness is not selfish. It’s contagious! Everyone wants happiness whether that be physical, spiritual, mental, social or environmental. Happiness is not isolated and caught up in a bubble. It knows no boundary. People across the world want happiness. Having an attitude of gratitude and reaching into your community is a goal we should all strive for. And so you know, happiness is a choice.

Don't let your happiness be hijacked. It’s unfortunate that events such as loss of income, job, home and family may be contributing factors to your current circumstances. For some of us, it was the economic crash of 2007. And for others, it’s world events, in particular those who have been victims of the scourge of terrorism.

Save the Date!

We don't want you to read this, move on, and do nothing. Come join us this weekend at Happy Fun Fest at the Norman P. Murray Center in Mission Viejo on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 from 11am-5pm to express yourself with an amazing program line-up to celebrate the International Day of Happiness. Officially, the International Day of Happiness is recognized on March 20th. This event is brought to you by the Brotherhood Lions Club and will consist of educational talk, inspiring stories, live music, and fun for everyone. Live performances by Einstein Brown, steel drum player, Gabby Jackson and the Angels of the Arts.
