Japanese teens visiting Mission Viejo need host families for 3 weeks!
The California School of English welcomes Japanese students to Mission Viejo July 19 - August 7
Since 2008 the California School of English has run a popular ‘English Language and Culture’ summer program for international youths. Students from Europe and Asia attend for three weeks and attend English classes, participate in cultural and sports activities, and live with local host families.
We’re currently seeking a few more host families to host one Japanese 16 yer old for three weeks (July 19 - August 7). The program is held at the Norman P Murray community center on La Paz.
For most of the students it’ll be their first time in America and they’re excited to experience life in California. They’re well-behaved, polite, and English-competent. Host families will benefit by learning about Japan and its culture, traditions, food, and language. Quite often lifelong friendships are made!
