Laguna Woods Seniors Thrilled To Enjoy Classic Car Show

LAGUNA WOODS, CA — Laguna Woods seniors living in Ivy Park of Wellington celebrated a day made just for them on Sunday.

The senior living community hosted a classic car show to commemorate the residents living in the community, and participating guests celebrated the "classics."

Guests dined on gourmet hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese and fresh popcorn while they perused the many classic cars brought to the community by car club Just Having Fun.

One Ivy Park of Wellington resident was moved to tears by the celebration.

"I had a mustang just like this when I was a teenager," Maxine Pierce said. "I can't believe out of all of the cars that could have been here today, there was my black Mustang. I am so grateful our community does things like this for us, today was one of the best days I've had in a while."
